Yes — before the first remote/electronic notarization, submit the "Notice to Perform Electronic and/or Remote Notarizations" form and receive Secretary of State approval; notice must name the SOS-approved communication technology provider(s), include the provider's training certification, a declaration that the notary has read/understands the requirements, and exemplars of the electronic signature/stamp (29-250 CMR Ch. 700 § 6.7(A))
