Remote-notarization interplay: GAC requires original/wet-ink signatures and seals — remotely executed, purely electronic notarizations are generally unusable for apostille unless printed/wet-signed by the commissioner

Current default: physical presence. Who could do it (under the lapsed Act, for reference): commissioners for oaths who are barristers; for notarized documents and wills the remote witness had to "be a lawyer." Fee rules: no statutory cap found (unverified)
