Required — must already be a FL notary (or civil-law notary/commissioner of deeds), complete a 2-hour online-notarization course (§ 117.225(2)), contract with a RON service provider, submit registration + Online Notary Public information form, $10 registration fee (Fla. Admin. Code 1N-7.001(2)(a)); $25,000 bond (§ 117.225(6)) and $25,000 minimum E&O insurance (§ 117.225(7)). RON providers self-certify annually and carry $250,000 annual-aggregate coverage (§ 117.295)
