Required — before the first remote act, notify the Secretary of State and identify the communication technology to be used (IC 51-114A(7)); remote qualification renews automatically with commission renewal (IDAPA 34.07.01.011.04)

(1) personal knowledge (IC 51-107(1)); or (2) credible witness on oath/affirmation (IC 51-107(2)); or (3) at least 2 types of identity proofing: credential analysis (automated authenticity testing, data-source verification, photo comparison) + KBA (min. 5 questions with 5 answer choices, 80% pass, 2-minute limit, one retake within 24 hours) (IDAPA 34.07.01.013.02)
