Yes — "Before a notary public performs the notary public's initial notarial act under this section, the notary public must notify the secretary of state" (A.R.S. § 41-263(F)); Electronic/Remote Notary Request filed through the SOS online portal identifying the technologies and the vendor by name and website (A.A.C. R2-12-1304); must already hold an active AZ commission and have a vendor contract; SOS approval estimated 1–2 weeks

At least two different types of the following (A.R.S. § 41-263(B); A.A.C. R2-12-1305): personal knowledge (A.R.S. § 41-255(A)); credible witness appearing remotely (witness personally known to notary or verified by multi-factor authentication, R2-12-1305(D)); identity proofing via dynamic KBA (minimum 5 questions, 80% pass, R2-12-1305(C)); credential analysis by third-party automated process (R2-12-1305(B)). Max RON fee $10 per notarial act — SOS: "notary fees shall be from 'No charge up to a maximum of $10.00 per notarial act'. This includes electronic and remote online notary fees." (fee schedule posted per A.A.C. R2-12-1102 / A.R.S. § 38-412). Standard: acknowledgment or jurat "up to $10 per notary public signature"; copy certification "up to $10 per page certified"; oath/affirmation "up to $10 per notarial act". Electronic journal and audio-visual recording of remote acts required (SB 1030); technology vendor must be identified to SOS before use
